You may have heard by now that Pantone named emerald the color of the year for 2013. It’s a bold yet sophisticated hue that (for some of us) may seem a bit intimidating to style into our wardrobes and homes. Kate Spade - Inspired Bachelorette Party Invitations via One Charming Life

Last month, eight friends traveled to the Texas hill country to celebrate something really special… Our friend Tiffany’s final days as a bachelorette! The weekend was a hit — we floated the river, dined at the Gristmill and danced at the famous Gruene Hall.  It’s a weekend I’ll never forget, and because of that I wanted to share a piece of it with you.

A couple of months ago, I was discussing wedding day details with Tiffany, the bride-to-be. When she mentioned that she had just bought her wedding shoes from Kate Spade, a light bulb popped up in my head. I thought, “I love Kate Spade’s style; what fun inspiration for a Bachelorette party!”

It was about time to start designing the invitations for Tiffany’s final fling, and right then I knew Kate Spade would be the perfect muse. I had so much fun creating these, and I hope you enjoy them too! Here’s the final product…
